WFSS is so excited to share that during 2020, an anonymous family foundation generously donated $100,000 to fund a huge initiative—the Pinydit County Water Storage Project. This project provides vital access to clean water to more than 10,000 residents in South Sudan.

With a heavy heart, Water for South Sudan announces the passing of Salva Dut’s father, Dut Ariik Mawien—the inspiration for Water for South Sudan’s founding in 2003.

We’re pleased to introduce the newest member of Water for South Sudan’s Board of Directors. Welcome, Grace Umerani! Originally from Nzara, South Sudan, Grace knows all too well the struggle to access clean water.
